I wasn’t pleased at all with this little vibrator. It was way too small to be used as a rabbit style toy, and it was way too buzzy to be used on my clitoris. All I can recommend to do is stay away from this toy.
The Satin Dream Day Dreams from California Exotics is a neat shaped little vibrator with a nub for clitoral stimulation. There’s only one motor located in the middle of the shaft. Once you try to apply pressure on the nub, the vibrations completely disappear. I think it’s best used as an external vibrator for more direct stimulation. The nub is pretty small and it won’t get in the way.
It’s made of TPE which is a porous material. You definitely won’t want to share this. You can use water based or silicone based lubes with it which is a good idea because the material has a lot of drag. You could probably tear skin if you don’t use lube.
The shaft and nub have curvy shapes to them, and are completely smooth. I also couldn’t feel any seams.
It total, this is only 7 ½” which does not take up much room. At the widest point, it is 4 ¼” but narrows down to 3 ½” by the clit stimulator. Its 3 ½” insertable, great for those with shallow G-spots. I couldn’t reach mine with that length, but it provides nice coverage when used externally.
The toy is quite small, but don’t let the size fool you. It has quite a buzz to it and I wouldn’t be surprised if anyone heard this in the next room over. It takes two AAA batteries which you load up in the provided cartridge. The battery compartment is protected with a nice thick O-ring so you can bring it in the tub with you.
There is one button on the based used to operate it. There are three speeds of steady vibration and that’s it. As time went on, the button became more fussy. Pressing it multiple times didn’t change the setting which was very annoying. It’s very poor quality and I’m surprised it’s being sold in the $20-$25 price range.
The vibrations are very buzzy. I found them to be clit numbing. When it was inserted, I got no stimulation from it. No matter how I used this toy, I wasn’t able to get the job done and I had to resort to other toys. It’s really not worth getting.
Soap and water will do the trick. Some toy cleaners may be too abrasive for TPE, so I would recommend sticking to wipes rather than a toy spray.
It doesn’t come with a pouch but you should store this away from other toy materials. You don’t want them melting.
Follow-up commentaryI don't like it anymore2 months after original review
This toy didn't survive long. The button became fussy and the toy didn't like to turn off and sometimes wouldn't turn on, and it eventually stopped working all together. The vibrations were too buzzy and I'm surprised I gave this toy such a high rating.
