The Mona is presented by LELO (maker) and EdenFantasys.

Mona's handle is made of shiny, smooth white plastic while the shaft itself is smooth, matte silicone. It comes in a deep purple or true red. The silicone shaft has a velvety feel and plenty of drag without lube. It's also hard, as if there is a silicone layer over hard plastic instead of solid silicone which often has some give to it.

Mona has a new and unique shape that tapers in the middle with bulbous ends. When compared to their other similarly shaped toy, the Liv, it's larger, but the shaft also bulges front to back, giving it the appearance of a thin toy from the front but a thicker toy when looking at it from the side. The plastic handle also bulges in a way that makes it fit very well in your hand.

There is nothing realistic about Mona, so in that sense it is a discreet toy. One does not immediately think "sex toy" when finding it.

As with other LELO products, Mona comes with a lockable control panel, ensuring no accidental operation during travels or storage.

Mona's vibration strength is moderately intense. It is low in frequency, providing a very "thuddy" vibration at low speeds. At high speeds, the vibrations have a higher frequency but still maintain that "thuddy" low-frequency quality. The vibration transmits well throughout the shaft, but is particularly focused at the tip.

Mona has a four button control panel. The plus and minus buttons located at the left and right position on the panel increase and decrease the vibration intensity. To turn off the toy, you simply hold the minus key down until the vibrations stop. The top and bottom buttons, marked with up and down arrows, scroll through 5 increasingly complex pulsation patterns.

A charger is included with Mona because she does not take traditional replaceable batteries, but is rechargeable. It takes 2 hours to full charge Mona, netting approximately 4 hours of battery life before requiring further charging. The control panel will light up with a red light when charging is needed.

When lube is required, a water-based one is recommended as the safest choice. The manufacturer warns that using a silicone lube could leave your toy permanently tacky.

Also it is recommended that you wash your toy before and after each use, using warm water and antibacterial soap, then rinsing with hot water and patting dry with a lint-free towel. This toy is not waterproof so care should be taken not to submerge it or get water into the DC socket or around the control buttons.

Mona comes with her own satin storage bag which allows you to store her away from sunlight and other toys in a dust-free environment.

The instructions and warranty documents included are useful and informative, which can't be said of all instructions included with such toys. Again, they are presented in several languages.

Mona has become my favorite LELO toy. Liv (my previous favorite) is still a great little vibe, but Mona's bulbous curves work far better for me as a G-spot toy, pressing against just the right places during thrusting. I can also just let her sit, inserted, hands free and there is enough pressure from the girth of her shaft to provide significant G-spot stimulation, allowing me to focus on other areas of my body.
