Cord is really not needed. I think it is there to reassure newbies...but the shape of the toy works.

Does the cord actually serve a purpose? It seems like if the base does its job, the cord in unnecessary.
I own the 1 1/2" version. I'm very tight, so I have a hard time getting larger toys in my rear without having to stretch myself first. Because of the shape and size, this plug slides in easily without having to warm myself up first. The problem is that it doesn't stay in. I like to go out in public wearing a plug, but I can't with this one. Even when I wear a tight thong, this plug keeps coming out. It's still fun for home and worth the low price.
