I'd like to start out saying that I don't have much experience with anal toys. I first began trying things with it, not too long ago. I had heard that you really have to get used to it, so I started off with something REALLY small; like a slim bullet type thing. That was very easy, so I tried something a bit bigger.

My boyfriend really wants to try anal, but every time I try with him, it REALLY hurts. I thought that maybe I'd try something that went gradual to the size of his girth, like this toy. This toy is also a soft jelly material, so it’s a bit easier to take than anything that is made of a hard material.

I would recommend that you have some experience with trying anal before using this toy, just because the tip might be a little big if you've never tried anything before. It does look pretty intimidating when you get it (at least the larger size, which is what I got,), but once you get used to using it, it’s great.

I knew anal would hurt when trying it out as a beginner so, even with this toy, I made sure to start out very slowly and made sure I was relaxed. Make sure that you use a lot of lube on the toy and on yourself before using it. I slowly just tried getting the end of it in at first, then stopped to make sure I was relaxed. Then go just a little bit further (seriously, a very little) then stop again and relax, and I just repeated that until I didn't feel I was comfortable going any farther. If you don't get it in all the way, it’s a bit hard to keep inside while you are maybe using other toys at the same time; maybe for your clitoris or vagina.

Again, when using this toy, you have to make sure that you are VERY relaxed and comfortable when trying it. If you're not, it’s most likely not going to feel very good. After about 3 or 4 times of using this toy, I finally was able to get the entire thing in. It felt very good to feel so ‘full’, and it really tightened the vagina. Once it is all the way in, you do not have to worry about it accidentally falling out. After the largest part of the toy, it quickly narrows again so that it stays in there.

However, I do find the retrieval cord unnecessary. The base of the toy is wide enough, that the entire thing won't get stuck inside you or anything. Unless maybe I'm missing something, and that cord is also supposed to be something so that your partner can tug on it and play with it a bit.

My boyfriend really liked it, after I was able to get the entire thing inside me. Even when we were just playing with it before, I was able to get it all the way in, it was still a lot of fun to play with. It was kind of a reminder to him, about what this is "training" me for. Once I got it in we were also able to have sex without it falling out, and it made me tighter for him. I still haven't tried getting anal from my boyfriend, since I have been able to get the toy in, but I plan on using the toy first as a warm-up. Maybe we can have sex while it’s in, then after, my boyfriend can try anal with me after its been loosened up and relaxed a bit.
