Are you interested or do you practice infantilism?

I read about this fetish on a favorite blog of mine run by a sex worker- not prostitute, she's a professional dominatrix. Reading about her experience, along with some medical information, was interesting to say the least! My jaw probably dropped and hit the floor. There are some unique fetishes but this is not one I expected.

Neither me or my partner are interested. I'm actually a little confused about how such a sexual fetish would arise like this one as it seems to go beyond a dom-sub thing.

I work at a nursing home, I take care of people that regress to this stage as they lose their faculties...Doing it for fun or sexual pleasure does not appeal to me.

Honestly, I am highly interested in this myself. It is a fantasy of mine, but I have yet to be able to act it out.

Call it sick if you want, but it really is not just about sh*ting in a diaper and getting off to it, it is very misunderstood by the general public!

It is not about the diaper, it is about the role. During infantilism, the "little" gets to essentially relax. They are trusting their significant other (daddy or mommy) 100% by giving them full control of themselves. They are taken care of, and for some people, being taken care of and feeling safe, is the strongest form of love.

From the other perspective, some people find others dressing as a baby and acting like a baby to be very cute. You are not an equal to your "little", you are their "protector". Your goal is to make them feel safe by being taken care of by you.

Sometimes. Not everyone who participates in infantilism does, though. Some people just wear diapers, but they do not actually use them.

I don't see how this is so "out there" to people, yet beating and cutting your partner is more acceptable. Society is silly.

I voted that I have yet to pursue it due to me and my partner acting things out, but not yet having any 'props' (though we will)

It sounds interesting from the complete release and regression point of view, but I doubt I'll ever actually have an opportunity to try it. I'll just have to stick with my 6 year old little self coloring while Daddy plays video games
