I use a nice metal box that locks. I got it at the hardware store, and it has the most perfect compartments for me to put each toy I own inside. Though, I'm buying more toys, so now I need another box!

My storage doesn't need to lock, so I have a large cloth-lined lidded box (from Target) that fits under my nightstand and a black duffle bag for travel. I may need to get another box soon, though...

Depends on the toys, but things like cuffs, impact toys like floggers, or collars I store flat and unbuckled so they don't wind up getting warped.
Right now they're just sort of hanging around in little nooks and crannies on my side of the room, but eventually I plan on making or buying a better storage system for them.

The rest of the toys are all in one large backpack for now...it keeps them out of sight (and thus, out of mind).
