We tried this with my cat when she would get onto my boyfriend's stuff. He walked in one day to see her on his shelf LICKING the tape. So it probably will work for some cats, but keep in mind that sometimes some cats are bothered by different things.

Do you mean the brown packing paper? I'm sure someone on here knows a thing or two about origami, or something. I recently was shown a website with a collection of tutorials on making your own gift boxes out of paper or cardstock. Sounds like a good idea to me!

its a great idea to be sure, i usually fill them with junkmail and heavy rocks and tape a credit card prepaid postage envelope to them and send them on their way.

i hate credit cards and i want them to know it.
