My family has a history of food allergies, and I am starting to wonder if I have developed one. Has anyone tried an elimiation diet, how long do I have to give up the foods that I think are making me sick before it shows effects?

Usually you go about a month without the suspicious foods, then re-introduce them one at a time, and watch your bodies reaction for two to three days. And then re-introduce another food, then wait two or three days.
Good luck!!! I found it pretty hard to do, but used it to figure out for certain that I was sensitive to dairy.
