I have an update of sorts on our book. It is now on it's way to publishing...and we will be tossing around some ideas about a next book just as soon as we have confirmation of it being near completion!

How would you guys like to have some guest speakers...say published writers who would come in and allow us to pick their brains clean?

Here's hoping they taste like chicken....
I ahve been given the go ahead to as a writer or two to pop in and do a workshop for us. So if there is an interest then we wil certainly proceed with looking for a few who don't mind us stripping them naked and fighting over their bones.....

Well DUH short men may not always be well endowed but I've heard dwarves are ummmm fully functional in that area. Seven seems like a good number as well...whew is it hot in here?

I have a really intricate study for next month involving integrating all three tenses into one story...that should be really fun to delve into. Then a short presentation about tenses and keeping them straight, even I could use that! Anything else you voracious writers want to talk about or learn about?
I thought we could do some How To type lessons...Like discuss the elements of a good erotica piece, how to write a great sex scene, how to write romantic scenes etc. Heck even what goes into good fiction/non-fiction writing!

What I am trying to do is get to a point where we are really looking at ways to fine tune our work. I don't want a guest speaker to feel like they are teaching a class ya know? That and it gives us time to practice before we tackle a theme type book rather than the very broad theme we chose for the first one.
