Ok so by now most of you have heard about something called the Screen Writers Club. You might know that we have a meeting a month but you don't have any time to devote to yet another activity.
Here's the thing though, the only 'assignments' for this club are you showing up and having a great time suggesting some wild ideas for dialogue! You know, some of the outrageous shit you hear right here in our own community.
The software we are using is XtraNormal and it's limited to 1 or 2 actors, static sets and no props. You cannot do walk-ins but I can tailor the dialogue to include anything we need. The characters can be either male or female and there are a variety of background sounds, character motions and camera angles.

Looking For A Mentor
I am always looking for great situation ideas or dialogue, so if you want to simply email me your ideas then please do! Just send me a note on the site about your idea and I'd be thrilled to work with you to turn your vision into a great little movie. You can also simply post your ideas on the meeting forum and I'll add them to the mix of ideas.
We have free reign as long as we don't get too raunchy or involve inappropriate topics. This is a great community activity that takes very little work, it's a whole bunch of fun to see our ideas take shape and there's plenty of room for amazingly funny, touching, sweet and raunchy dialogue. Join us at our next meeting June 16, 2011 at 5 pm est and let's blow the doors off and let the world see what we are made of!
