hahaha.

i got some halloween trivia for ya.

if you put your pumpkin seeds from your jack o lanterns guts in your compost you'll end up with tons of baby pumpkins growing out of your compost pile next year!

Hallow means saint. The Catholic holiday of All Saints Day falls on the last day of October and has become interwoven with other European holidays involving the coming of winter, the harvest season and the celebration of the dead to become the holiday that we know today.

BABY PUMPKINS YES. (Didn't get to carve a pumpkin. Yet.) I also don't have a compost pile, but I bet you'd get the same reaction with dirt.

We're kind of doing that this weekend! We all wanted to carve pumpkins, so we're gonna drink, carve pumpkins, and bake pumpkin seeds

THAT's totally true! We did that one year (before we took to cooking the seeds) and had pumpkin plants everywhere!

Tootsie Rolls can be found in almost any trick-or-treaters basket of candy and was the first penny candy to be individually wrapped. First produced in 1896, this inexpensive chocolate chewy candy was immensely popular and was even part of American soldiers' field rations during World War II.
