I loved in Lost Boys when they would fly. I watched it over and over and then I would make myself go to sleep thinking about it so that I could fly.

We got enough that our pasture is beginning to look like dirt again, instead of dry dust. We still need more though.

So Sammi, I happen to know you've read the book. What was your favorite, or favorites?
The two I liked the best were Sacchi's "Freeing the Demon" and Kristina's "Thief of Dreams."

I think we had 31 in a row but there were more. The lake by our house has receded so far there are no ways to launch boats without chancing driving out onto the lakebed. It is horrible.

Maybe that's why we all enjoty reading so much. We have great imaginations, so it is easy for us to submerse ourselves into the stories.

It's such a SMART webcomic. Admittedly, I sometimes don't get all of the science jokes.

I've always found reading to be infinitely more enjoyable than watching movies or television. I like being in my imagination better than watching someone else's on screen. Reading is so much more vivid

Me neither, but my boyfriend is a physicist so I tell myself that because he would probably understand them, I get to somehow enjoy/understand them by osmosis. Somehow. Haha

Plus we can imagine them as our minds see fit instead of how hollywood picks them to be. I can always get into a book more as well.

The creek behind my house completely dried up. And it wasn't a seasonal creek. It was a year round creek a couple feet deep. I used to go out and sit by it to relax. Now, it's just depressing. I wonder what happened to all the fish and other creatures that lived in the water. But hopefully the rain will get it going again.

I really wish I could have gotten a copy to read before the meeting. It sounds like a great anthology.

As am I, plus my ideal man doesn't look anything like Brad Pitt. I would do him though just because he is brad Pitt. I like being able to alter my charachters a little in my head. Tall, dark and handsome is different for each individual.
