I should really mention that I also have not really "gotten started" in the porn industry as a performer. I have only worked for a few places, most others wont take folks my size. I would suggest to your girlfriend to apply everywhere, get on twitter, and get that mentality of performing into your head - you'll get 200 rejections before you ever get a yes, and that's just the truth all across the board.

It is TOTALLY not a big deal with me, I relate to the "she" pronoun for work purposes... but if anybody's interested, I did recently come out as genderqueer. Or more specifically, a queer femme-presenting, non-gendered creature.
