Mine was one of those reviews, I know. But with porn, its not like there's a plot to ruin. It's really the ability of the movie to arouse you that matters.
True. And everyone has a different style. But for me, at least for this movie (masseuse 3), I couldn't do a play by play. You can read it, and see why. It just was not what I expected. At all.

I disagree. I like to be surprised and not told scene by scene what happens. Everyone is different though.

Where is this discussion happening? Is there another link besides the one you had in the announcement that only leads to this page? New to Edens as a member but would like to join the conversation w/ Kay Brandt.
It is happening right here. Right Now.

The first question I want to respond to is regarding my inspiration. I've always been drawn to erotic storytelling... if not totally obsessed. There is a freedom in the genre that, for me, can't be found anywhere else in writing. Writing about sex, love, passion and deep desire comes from my gut. It's as if I am trying to create my most perfect erotic situation when I write...

True. For me- depends on the movie. For example, a movie in a theater, I dont want play by play. But a porn, I want to know a little, to decide if I want it.

They say that is what makes a horse race. Different opinions of what you want to see. That is also why we have multiple reviews of these movies, different people see different things.

Thats what makes a really great writer. I don't know much about you (sorry!), do you write books as well? Or just movies?

That's interesting that you mention eroticism. I think the The Masseuse 3 had a lot of potential for eroticism, and we got a taste with the one actual massage scene that didn't even lead to sex. Was there any consideration to take the movie more in that direction?

That's very kind. I'd say that it's better because of the amount of work that went into making it. However, you really need to see Cherry 1 to understand the story unfolding in Cherry 2. I did try to make movies of worth when I was at Girlfriends Films, but it's much harder when working with a crew of two people, like I did at GF, and there is a time crunch to complete all the scenes in one day.

As a porn writer to you write the overall story, the dialouge and the actions as you would for a mainstream film or is the role of a pornography writer quite different from your average screen writing gig?

I loved the last scene in Cherry 2. Wow. I would have really appreciated the movie more had I seen the first one, I think.

so you only do a day of shooting? with DP or with GF?

i was wondering how many takes you do of each scene, and-or if you splice them into one to get different camera angles. also, how many cameras do you have on any one scene during shooting? a technical question i know but i was wondering...

I did not like it. I felt the title was a bit misleading. I love massages, and erotic massages, and was hoping to see that (and show my husband like, hey babe! Do that!). I felt the movie was very vanilla, and lacked any thing, unoriginal. Granted, I did not see the first 2, and maybe I would feel different if I did, but, I didn't. I worked with what I was given.
