My machine is a tiny "travel" machine. Same size as the pink ones they make for kids lol!

I feel silly, kept refreshing my page and didn't notice it had jumped to a new one

So, you're going to take that section, and cut it in half again in the same direction you cut the bottom of the shirt. Now with each of those sections, cut into even sections of 3, not cutting all the way through.

Sacrifice via slashing of bottom 9". Nope. So far so good. Any t-shirt gods we should be at the alter of for said sacrifice?

Only those to which you feel you owe pittance to, otherwise any flat work surface should suffice as a makeshift altar in the meantime

Next, take and braid each section. It might work better if you have an extra hand to hold the top of the sealed edge while you braid down. The top should end up sort of folded in 3, and when you get to the bottom, tie whichever 2 strands happen to be on the outside together in just a single knot.

I didn't really leave any specific amount, but I would suggest leaving at least half an inch. Leaving a whole inch certainly won't hurt it either.

No drawstrings here, they're going to get braided and sewn back on a little later on

Once you've got your straps all braided up, go ahead and cut up each side of the rest of the shirt, removing the sleeves and any awkward seams, then cut across the top removing the neck hole.

I did mine so that the design would stay centered, but you guys can do yours however you want.

You've actually missed 30 minutes. You might want to back track to see the previous instructions.
