Depends on a number of things. What lube base do you prefer? How thick do you like your lube? Are you sensitive to any chemicals?

Look at the reviews and see what lube best matches your personal feelings, then try it out. Some lube companies offer free or low-cost samples.

I haven't tried many different lubes to say which is the best, but I use Boy Butter and I'm quite happy with it.

Ones I've heard good things about: Maximus, Boy Butter, Doc's Anal Lube. I usually use Probe Thick and Rich - it's not as thick as some of the others, but it is cheap and doesn't have anything I'm sensitive to (glycerin isn't a big deal for anal lubes in almost all people, but some people have problems with glycerin used vaginally - yeast infections).

Oh, yeah, Doc's Anal Lube is pretty damn good, too. And I've heard lots of good things about Maximus as well.

For Silicone materials Maximus is my favorite, Anal lube from Cal Exotics is good as well. Doc's Anal Lube sounds pretty good but it has Silicone in it so be careful with Silicone toys. Probe Thick and Rich is nice but it dries out to fast for me.

For materials that are compatible with Silicone lubes, Better Sex Essentials is my lube of choice.

In my experience I have found that Pjur has worked best. I stays slick and doesn't get sticky or dry out.

I still prefer Pink Silicone for anal. Lasts forever, and it's just a great lube. Haven't had any problems with it so far!
