I know that Apple has tight restrictions on what is allowed in the app store, but are the rules for Google's Android Market the same? If not, will we ever see an Android app for Edenfantasys?? I know I would use it!

If there's anyone who knows if this is possible, please advise! Thanks!

I'd love to have an Android app for my Droid - the nice thing about Android is that it's open to all phone makers and networks. Android users are expected to exceed iPhone users sometimes this year - it's a large potential market.

Great, I love seeing this request. We've been thinking about such app. It will help a lot if you can share with us what functions such app should have. For example:
- I want it to make it easier to post on the forums;
- I want it to show my alerts/ statuses, friends,...?;
- I want it to ...
please let us know what you would like it to do and we'll make it happen

The crux of the issue is trying to format a web page to a relatively small screen of widely varying size and aspect ration - and still have it relatively easy to navigate. Although ideally we'd be able to conduct all business on the phone - I would think that reading and posting to forums would be the place to start.

Personally I don't wee myself buying product from my phone - but I could see browsing products when bored & I'm stuck an airport - phase 2?

Crackberry App also! I would use it in a heartbeat!

I can get on EF from my phones browser but it is hard to navigate and not everything shows (for example I can read a review but I cannot vote on it). Making it easier to post on forums with an App would be great also.

I have never had a phone that has apps because I don't want a phone to have internet (I would really then be connected ALL the time lol), but for those who do, this sounds like it would help .

I would love this! I don't have a phone with apps, but my boyfriend does. When his daughter was here and I couldn't get on the compy, I was constantly on his phone looking at EF. An app would be nice since, like Jobthingy said, a lot of things just don't work the same on a phone browser.

I'd love to see the ability to read and comment on reviews. I'd love to see the ability to use the forums. I'd even pay for an Android EF app. I'd really, really like it.

I would totally use this! I already access the EF site on my phone, though it's not as quick to do. I've even placed an order on my phone when I was at work and wanted to get my order in so it would hit the road to my house!

I would love to be able to access/read/post easier to the forums. This would be great for when my schedule doesn't work out for Porn Club discussions, etc.

I would love to be able to do any of the dashboard items in the Reviews section. I probably wouldn't actually write a review on my phone, but to be able to search for and view new available products and accept/decline assignments would be awesome.

I would also like to be able to view wall updates and messages.

That's all I can think of right now. Awesome idea!!

I can get on the site from my Blackberry, but I don't do much more than comment back on my own reviews or respond to messages. I can read reviews and forum posts, but it's tedious and involves a lot of scrolling, so I don't even bother. It would be nice to be able to respond to some things in the forum tho.

I want the EF Android app to (in order of importance):

-submit assignment orders
-read and reply to EF messages
-read and post on the forums

I can't do any of this at work. I'm sure the EF site is blocked and our Network team sometimes looks as what sites we visit.

This is a good point. I think maybe seeing the newest products, reviews and forums posts would be enough. It's not realistic to try to turn the entire site into an app.

I would also like to see...
- Mobile Review Page: where you can write a review from your phone, if you so wish to.

- Somehow to still

- A Way to upload your video to a review you already have published: similar to how you can with youtube?


This is an awesome idea... and I too would pay to have such an app!

I feel like writing a review from your phone would just lead to a plethora of editing/formatting issues. I mean, I love writing reviews, and it's nothing I'd partake in without a full keyboard in front of me. Even for the speediest of texters, I'd imagine it would take forever to write a full, good review.

I'm not sure if anyone records their video reviews from their phone which is what the video uploading feature would work best for. Plus, all videos uploaded for payment have to include the EF video intro which, unless I'm wrong, there's no editing app on Android that would be able to handle that.

I'm still really hoping this app gets made!

When I was using my Droid I would get on the side on occasion but I'd rarely do anything other than read and reply to comments. I'm sick of the stupid texting bugs on that phone so I'm using my old BlackBerry.
I'd use an app but I'm considering going iPhone next month and I know that won't ever make it.

I really wish we could do this for Apple because I'd love to be able to have it on my iTouch. There's sex games and erotica apps, and a position of the day app on Apple, don't see why we can't have an EF Community one!

I'd love to have it show the forums, and my page, my messages, the community page, be able to vote/comment on reviews. I don't need to be able to order anything on the app, personally.

I Agree!

I am keeping my fingers crossed that if they do come out with an app it is community oriented.

I'd be ecstatic to see an EF Android app. I currently get Forum updates via RSS, but posting is not easy, and there's no real UI to speak of other than a list of new threads in my RSS client.

Some of the features I'd like to see include
-posting on forums
-access to account summaries
-ability to see reviews and product pricing (sort of like Barcode Scanner, where you can enter a product and see EF's price and/or reviews)

I'd love to be part of a testing circle if this ever goes into development.

There is so much to contend with on the back end of this site (I can only imagine). I would think that any app would be limited function. I just log on with my phone's browser.
