This is my 2nd toy. My first was the Purple Elements Pi. Upon removing the Silk Dildo from the package, I noticed it was extremely sticky unlike the Pi. Even when wet, it was still sticky. When I removed it from a plastic storage container, it was like it was adhesive or suctioned at the bottom. The Pi is nothing like this. I'm almost afraid of using it as the feeling is much different than the Elements Pi. Is it suppose to be like this?

Have you washed it well with soap and water yet? Maybe that would take away the stickiness. Silicone by nature is a little tacky, but if you already have another Tantus toy you know this. If it's really that weird after washing it I would call Tantus (or wherever you got it from) and try to get an exchange.

I think when I first got mine, it was a little tacky out of the package, but after washing, using, cleaning & storing, I have not noticed it to be really sticky or tacky at all.
I would agree with Saraid - if it still is weird like that, contact the store where you purchased it from and see about exchanging it.

Yes, I have washed it with soap and water, used alcohol and boiled it for 20 minutes. It was still very sticky after I did all that. I let it soak in soap and water overnight, and after it was dry, it seemed to take some of the tackiness away. The bottom of the Elements Pi is shiny and I don't remember being that tacky when I got it. I guess I should give it a few more washings to see if it would wear off. Thanks everybody, I was a little worried if I got a defect or something. I could barely read the logo on there.

Thank you Metis and Tantus! I received my replacement today. I am amazed by the wonderful customer service. Makes me wonder how Amazon cs would have reacted in reason for return: "sticky dildo" lol. Though I don't think I want to purchase my toys there anymore.
I noticed a huge difference when I took it out of the package. It was not tacky at all other than the base being a tiny bit. I feel so much comfortable now to use it.
