When you sign up for alerts of items similar to the one you want that is out of stock, you get an e-mail that I thought would be telling me other items that ARE in stock which are similar.

Not the case.

I just received an e-mail about similar products and at least two are out of stock. That makes no sense to me. Why send me something that's out of stock?

Can whoever is in charge of this PLEASE place the items in that e-mail carefully and make sure the products listed are actually in stock? It would help me to shop the site better.

Items similar to also includes brand new, not available items. That way you will be aware they are going to be carried and become available.

Okay, I get that, js250, but these were already established products. They even showed me the same product I made the alert for and it's STILL out of stock. I don't know what they're doing with that alert system if it's not actually going to work.

I've had similar issues with that. I have set it for a new or similar item and get a list of all kinds of items that Eden's already carrying.

I think there's a box for website promos in general so I don't check that box. If you didn't check that box then the whole system is just a bit broken and needs to be tweaked to work right.
