Just how many men out there achaully take care of their skin or body in general with products? I'd like to know as reference for my bf or a friend that says its not manly to.
My BF didn't used to use products, but then I made him try using some of them for a few weeks and now he won't go without. I work at a dayspa though so I probably "sold" the product a bit better to him than other girlfriends might have done in the past.
I have three different products that I use to shave. But then I'm a gay man, so I might not be the best example if he's looking to maintain his masculinity.

I only use a moisturizer for my face after I shave and hand lotion (without it my hands would be dry as hell). I also use typical acne products (cream and foam wash). Other than that I don't really use anything.
Nothing special for me. Electric razor, no aftershave. I do use a mens body wash but thats because the wife buys scented soaps. Have not really had a need for anything else.
The only skin product my husband uses is a little bit of Curel on his hands. He needs to moisturize his face, but he thinks using products is too girly. *shrug*
I should be using a sunscreen product more often as I live in South Florida but I don't. I did however use moisturizers when I lived up north in Buffalo, New York as the cold would seriously dry out my hands.
I have seborrheic dermatitis, so I pretty much have to use moisturizer on my face every day. Otherwise, large flakes of dead, dry skin start appearing around my nose and eyebrows. I'm also not a big fan of dry hands.
I didn't vote because I'm not a man but my boyfriend definitely cares for his skin. Dry skin is not limited to women! He uses cocoa butter and the Intimate Organics oil I got for him from Edenfantasys. He uses Dove body wash or Cetaphil soap for his body/face in the shower because of his sensitive skin.

I threw out the crap disposable razors and canned chemical goop and started using vintage Gillette double edge razors, shaving brush, shaving soap, etc., just like your grandpa used to use. It's much better for my face and I found that I liked good shaving products and actually looked forward to shaving. Became a bit of a connoisseur in fact. Now I have & use dozens of different concoctions, and my masculinity is not impaired in the least. Next, I may start using an old-fashioned straight razor. Tell me I'm not masculine with one of those bad boys in my hand. Go ahead. I dare ya!

You know i think thats what my current bf has. After he takes a shower he has large flakes on his face as well and around those areas.

Its manly as shit lmao. I use em regularly, Big bottle of scented lotion at the head of the bed
Well, I voted yes for my partner. He doesn't really use lotions or anything from the female dept. Just the regular male shaving, soaps, deo. So that doesn't count, but I have to review skin products a lot and being a representative for a skin product company, you HAVE to know what skin care products give results, what they do, how they smell, what they look like, etc. It's mind blowing how many questions you get. So, I end up running out of faces to test on & I'll have a mask on mine, I'll have my mom in a mask and eye therapy and then I'm left with 12 other items that need testing and reviewing. I had this happen last week so I learned to use my partners too. Like a while back I had a very bad reaction to a fruit enzyme mask and it actually resulted in lesions and small cysts all over my face so I needed to be sure it wasn't just me before I sold the product or before I reported the results so I scrubbed it all over my partners arm to test. Also, after using one product, I only use that one for the day because if I use another with it, I could end up reporting back false results so I have to use them on him sometimes. He's not particularly ecstatic over it, but he's learned ALOT! & Sometimes he even likes it. I used a cucumber peel on his face once & he I ended up giving him a bottle of it to use because he liked it.
Other than that, & the cucumber peel, he does it against his own will in a way! Lol

Soap and water, then some talcum on my sack. That is it.
