Just under the title you can chose "last post I read" or "last post". Is that what you mean?

You can also set an alert - right under the title is the link to do so - and you'll get emails for each reply to the thread you set the alert for.

Thank you, I didn't see that. But I just 'heart' it. My screen is black due to eye sensitivity so I couldn't see it.

Okay, I just totally had a d'oh! moment! I had no idea we could do this. 'Cause, ya know, the "Set alert" option just happens to be invisible on my screen -- no, really, it is. (Face palm . . . I must be blind . . . ).
