Bignuf - It sounds as if your attitude to it is very like ours. For us it is just another way of loving - no D/s element to it, no gender role-reversal element, no sucking.

I agree with you about the non-realistic dildos. The Share XL is our favourite as the shaft seems designed with prostate stimulation in mind with no attempt at realism.
