Salts - not a big deal. Bacteria - not a big deal for the butt provider, bigger deal for the peer unless they use something to inject it (which a woman would need to do) Even then probably not that big of a deal, otherwise guys would get UTIs from most anal sex. less

I have never had "burning" from this game...although, again, not something we do often.
Salt, as you say, no biggie. Bacteria is more in the gut then the sterile urine.
Nitrogenous compounds from breakdown of proteins comes after a period of time (urine smells after it begins to degrade...as does sperm, by the way...just smell some sperm left out on a plate about six hours later), so since I don't "keep it in", that too has never been a problem.
Just saying. I am NOT suggesting anyone else do this, but I know I have heard of it, seen it in some porn and a prior GF of my hubby was BIG into this...and all urine play, and it never seemed to do her much harm. I can even say SHE is a doctor now!!!!!!

It is safe. Urine is sterile except for the last couple of centimeters of the urethra where a few bacteria are present, but the colon has a massive number of bacteria in it. Those bacteria are going to out-compete the urine bacteria.
The only real issue is the pH. Urine can be acidic or basic. Typically nothing extreme. But you might have some mild irritation from the pH if you had a very unique diet
