Overcoming Performance Anxiety

Obscura Obscura
Our brain has a lot to say about IF and HOW we experience orgasms. Scientists are finally coming around to studying this once taboo subject and we're happy to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

There is a recent article explaining why we don't usually get performance anxiety when we're by ourselves. It's not just because we know what we like. It gets fairly technical and scientific, but the basic thought behind it is this - it's all in our heads.

Are we our own worst enemies in the bedroom?

Have you ever heard of the two bed theory?

It is the theory that if you want to have a good nights sleep you should not associate your bed with anything other than sleep. Such as eating, reading, playing on the computer.

Thus it is said if you want to have great sex you should not have sex in a bed you associate with sleep. That is why having sex in a hotel room etc. usually has a particular feeling. The feeling of "new" etc.

It was suggested in case study that those couples who had sex in another bed of their house felt a similar feeling.

Intrigued?
