Biggest turn off

Contributor: WHITEMIKE WHITEMIKE
I have found for me the biggest turn off is being nagged. I'm not saying there are times where I don't deserve some discussion, but when it comes to nagging, (and my definition is where the discussion becomes one sided and repetitive, like repeating it would illicit more care out of me.)It is the biggest turn off. I shrivel up like the wicked witches feet on the Wizard of Oz. My mind becomes void of sexual interest, and I loose all give-a-damn.

So does anyone else have a spouse who does something which is an instant turn-off deal-breaking action for sex? Or is it just me?

My wife is perfect in that regard. I like the discussions we have and when she gets spunky. The only real turn-off I had before I met her, was someone that thinks they know something and forces it out, but they have no real clue what the hell they were saying.

I'm a nagger, I'll admit it.

I won't have sex with my girlfriend if she has burped really loud and blown it in my face or farted on me within the last 4 hours. You'd think these aren't steep standards, but...you wouldn't believe all the gases I exprience every day.

I think I may display acts of inconsideration, but my wife encourages it with her overreacting. It isn't burping or farting. It is more like a funny video-which is super corny, or a bad joke, or I find something funny when she finds it serious.
I understand her, but it is my nature. Some things just don't change. I let her dress me and style my hair, and I even refrain from harsh langauge (around her) at her request. I change in many ways, but my character remains the same. So it must be parts of my character which annoy her, and put her into a nagging state.

Honestly, I think nagging is in some people's blood. I get it from my mother. It may be your character that sets your wife off, but nagging may very well be a part of her character as well.

I thought my overreacting to her behavior encouraged her, so I tried ignoring it, but there was no change. I guess no one is perfect, and neither am I.
