My husband thinks it's awesome that I'm bi. So we have lots of rules for playing that we have defined over the years of dating and being married. For us, we only bring in a 3rd female, after a while of playing together we get approval as to whether we're comfortable playing with her solo. This usually takes a while, and normally happens when one or the other is out of town.
The main thing is to TALK LOTS so you don't end up hurting one another's feelings.
