Why Be Bisexual

lamira lamira
I'm bisexual. But it wasn't my decision. It's not that one day I woke up and said "Gee gosh, I think I'm going to start liking females." No, it's a natural attraction for me. I am attracted to both males and females without consciously making a decision or a choice.

It's not a question of why be bisexual. There is no choice involved. I was born this way. I can choose to restrict myself to one gender (I do not) but I can't choose who I am attracted to or why I'm attracted to them. I've had threesomes, probably more than my fair share, of the MMF, MFF and MMM type. Each has their unique appeal but are not related to being bisexual or not (Well maybe the MMM threesome..)

bisexuality is not a choice, just like being gay/lesbian/trans/stra ight/ect ect is not a choice.

Wow. This question is so blunt. I can't even take it seriously.

Being Bi-sexual is just like being straight, gay, ect. It has nothing to do with how many partners you have at one time, or anything to do with three-somes. It just means you are attracted to both sexes. It is a bit ridiculous to assume that just because someone is attracted to guys and girls they want a three-some.

Well put, thank you

We don't choose to be bisexual, we just choose to embrace it rather than stuff away all feelings other than for one gender. And people who have threesomes come in all sexualities, as do people who are 100% monogamous.

You're bisexual if you're born that way, we just appreciate aspects of male and female beauty and enjoy it. Like for me, I enjoy women with curves, long hair, and a pretty face, but with men I prefer shorter hair, strength and a strong jaw. We just enjoy both sexualities for their uniqueness and like to have the best of both worlds.

It's not that hard to understand, really. I am bisexual because I would be open to dating and having sex with both women and men. It has nothing to do with threesomes, and I have no desire whatsoever to date more than one person at a time.

It isn't even a conscious choice. I can be attracted to other women. I can fall in love with them, I can lust after them, et cetera. But I can also fall in love with men, lust after men, etc. I never "decided" one day that I wanted to be attracted to women or to men, in both cases it just happened to be the case.

I decided to be bisexual because it's truly who I was born to be. That is why.

I enjoyed reading your post. I am 47 years old and have always been very physically and emotionally attracted to women but have never taken that step "out". I am married and have grown children and am feeling like now it is "mom's time" to make herself happy. My husband is very supportive of my wants and needs and has encouraged me to try and find a female friend. We have talked about this for over 2 years and I want to find a female that I can be great friends with and also enjoy each other. My husband totally understands that I do not want him involved in this at all, this is my time, my treat! I have no desire to have a threesome. As you stated just because you want to be with the same sex it does not mean that you want a threesome.... so not true!!

My huge problem is I have no idea where to find other women around my age that are looking such as I am. I do not like the dating sites, don't drink so I don't go out to just hang at bars. All I really do is work and go to school to finally finish my degree. Any suggestions on finding someone to share laughs and good times with??? Thanks for listening!!

sorry,I'm bisexual and I wouldn't want a threesome, like ever. I know I'm attracted to both men and women, and there's not much I can do to change it. i know lots of hetero people who have had threesomes and at the end of the day, they're still straight.

the way you ask it makes it seem like it's a choice that people pick. i never chose to be bi, I've known since I was a small child that I was attracted to both genders sexually (and sometimes emotionally).

I'm not bisexual for the threesomes. I could live without ever having to engage in one. I am bisexual because I find both men and women attractive. There's more to it than just sex. A good personality and heart will win me whether you are a man or a woman. I just happen to be married to a man because he stole my entire heart. If the right woman had come along before him, who knows what would have happened.

Why be heterosexual?
Is it because you want to have a bunch of kids or what?
