I made a previous post about a TG issue just a moment ago but this is a separate issue all together.

And my parents (who still dont know my sexuality or TG life I dress and act a bit different in front of them).

NOW! Why is it ok by most closed minded straight men for lesbians to kiss or whatever and they get turned on by it.
But when it comes to gay men who kiss its wrong?

I just wanna know that baffles me lolol

This is one of those questions that I don't think will ever have an answer. Like what's the meaning of life? Are we alone in the universe? Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Why are guys turned on by lesbians, even when lesbians aren't turned on by them? I think we'll never know.

I totally agree with this answer.

No one will know for sure. Even with all of the female empowerment that we have now in our society, a lot of double standards really don't make any sense, but for some reason they still have power.

I think straight men like lesbian sex because it's still sex, but there's no man in it so they don't feel like they can't watch something (eg the penis that's in the lady's vagina)

I think we have lost sight here, I am not talking about sex. I am refering to relationships in general.

Let me reiterate with a real scenario...
I went to Disneyland with 4 friends, and both were gay couples one female couple and one male couple (I was a fifth wheel, but didnt care much at all. I was fresh out of a relationship that ended badly myself).

The female couple that were walking with me were holding hands they got a lot of "Oh-La-La" Stares. BUT! The males that were holding hands got a lot of scornful "Stupid Gays" type looks.

And one man confronted JUST the guys and was all "Thats really gross!"
I simply said "Leave my friends alone, I find it funny how you radar in on my guy friends, and leave my lady friends alone. Just bugger off."
He replies and I kidd you not "They are fine, its these two thats gross."

The main thing of this article is why? Why is it ok for women to hold hands and peck eachother on the cheek when guys get schtuff like this?

Straight men can't imagine a man loving another man because they themselves have no attraction for other men, but they can imagine a woman loving another women since to them, women are the hottest and most lovable things ever so why wouldn't even women like women.

My friend and I were just talking about this the other day. We got started on the topic about why do men have no problem with watching a grown man or woman suck on a womans breast but if a baby does it they have a huge shit fit. Then we got onto why can a woman look like a man and if you say anything its sexist but if a man looks like a woman hes picked on and its considered wrong. I think anything that makes a man question himself he freaks out over. There will always be ignorant stupid people out there who arent happy with themselves so they have to pick on anyone they can. Just ignor ppl like that. I actually am starting to learn to laugh at ppl like that and realize how little and weak they are.

I got into a fight with some jerk off at the gas station about this JUST Yesterdaay. Some old fart hollered at me because I was wearing what I normally wear, and it is no mistake I am a guy (broad shoulders, and some unfortunate masculine features :/)
So What was Kitty wearing? A short sleeved turtleneck, which is a dress style, jeans and my fav pair of Melrose Ave boots. This old fart gets out of his truck and says out loud to his wife (I would assume), "look at this freak of nature."

I said EXCUSE ME?! Some other dude younger gets out of the truck and starts in on me "You are a dude, and dressing like a bitch? Whats wrong with that picture? You are a man dress like it you fagot f***ing freak!"

I tear into him and end up saying "SO A GIRL CAN DRESS LIKE A GUY And she is a tomboy, but when a guy dresses like a girl he is a fagot?"
the younger dud is all "Yeaaaaah"

I said finally before just saying screw it and going to another gas station "Well heres a wrench in your gears! I am european. Call me a fag all you want, I am not a cigarette you stupid american hick!"

Left him scratching his head hahahahahahaha.

So honestly a lady can dress like a guy and is considered a tomboy or a butch and THATS ok, but when a guy dresses as a girl he is a fag? (again I am european. so understand how I interpret the meaning). YET ANOTHER double standard >__<
