One of the first things I notice is how they carry themself, whether they're confident or cocky, unsure or unobtrusive. After that, it's how they relate to others (speech patterns, word choice, intonation, etc), followed by smile or other facial expressions.

I get so excited when I click with someone! I suck at remembering faces (and names), but I always remember a great personality.

I'm super visual, so I examine looks first, but if you don't have a good personality, I've got no interest. I usually notice facial structure first, then eyes and body.

I would like to say something poetic like; "The eyes!" BUT... I usually notice hair, then clothes, then face--then probably body? I don't really look at the eyes separately from the face; when I take in a person, I take in their whole face at once.
