Something you might take a look at is the guides that comes with Cubbyholes and Couchsurfers. Actually, the author of the first guide lives in Philly, so it might be worth chatting him up

I think it depends on whether you want to look specifically at sex toys, or whether you want to look at "other" gear such as binders, packers, and the like.

I agree with Essin'Em--I think it'd be good to email people who have done this sort of work before, and then take that into account when you're looking at what EdenFantasys can do.

Writing a guide on trans specific toys would be a daunting task.Being trans (MTF) I find stuff in almost every category I find appealing but also realize many things that will work for a normal girl will not work for me.That being said maybe a guide on which toys will work for both that is toys that are typically from the mens area that will work on a female and visa versa .Most of the info I look for on the net is how to enhance my femininity.How to hide masculine features in lingerie and what lingerie,costumes and clothing in general that will hide the masculine and enhance the feminine.

I'm a non-transitioning male to female transperson and I think the real question is what you want to write about. The trans spectrum is so big (mtf, ftm, androgynous, transitioning, non-transitioning, etc., etc.) that you'll obviously need to have a particular focus for the article. Different groups are looking for different things. I think there are a lot of toys that are compatible to both males and females (and everyone in between), so you might be able to do something like that. It would also be nice to see some more trans literature in the book section. Don't know what you're considering for the articles necessarily but I'd be happy to give some input/feedback on whatever you've got thought up. Hey folks- for those of you who are trans men or female bodied but trans identified more broadly, my buyer's guide for trans guys just went live. I'd love to hear back from you (there or here) about what you think, what you'd like to know more about, etc. It's not really geared towards trans-specific toys, but rather toys that were made for a broad audience and happen to be really nifty for trans guys.

I would like to see some MTF passing items here on the website, perhaps some cute water bras for the sexy lingerie. I know my genderqueer biomale partner, Steph, would love to get a few items like that, especially from a great website and community such as this.

I'm in a lesbian relationship and we are currently looking for a toy that would penatrate both of us at the same time, while one is on bottom and one on top.

As a trans, I'm interested in prosthetics that make a person's body look more "passable" in clothing, especially while transitioning.

Like stand to pee packers. I've ruined a few packers making channels to run tubes through and attatching medicine spoon funnels. (Mr Rights)

I'm a trans woman, and I want to see more sex resources for trans women. I find that people, trans women included, often avoid talking about trans women's sex- particularly in sex positivist conversations. This, I think, is because of the stigmatization that we are always complaining about, the hypersexualization, fetishization, and all of that.

I am not saying that it is not important to call people out on those things, but we are also often sexual people. I highly recommend this zine called Fucking Trans Women. I've found it really helpful, and plan on contributing to future issues. The first issue is available from the girl who makes it as a digital download for only five dollars, as of right now, there is only one issue.

That zine makes some great points. Most notably, is that if we, as trans women, start talking about how we fuck, and making our own porn, and talking about our own sexuality, we can dispel all the bullshit and can create a more true, positive, and okay dialog around our sex. That's why I joined the Eden Community. I plan on being pretty active, writing reviews, and contributing articles and message board posts and all kinds of things, and talking about being a sexually active trans woman. Let's do this! Contribute to Fucking Trans Women here, contribute to the Eden Forums, talk about your sex, what you like, what you don't like, and what you don't know, what you do, and review your favorite toys.

Our bodies are all different, and just because I have a penis, doesn't mean it works like a man's penis (it works a LOT different, actually). Let's talk about that stuff, and use the community here at Eden to make our own sex resources!

ALSO, it seems like a lot of trans women on here are looking for femininity/passing tips. I'll probably start a thread about that for people to share resources, thoughts, experiences etc. Passing is a controversial and hot topic, so we should talk about it!
