I'm just curious to see, is Valentines Day an "obligatory sex day"? Do you make a point of having sex on V Day?

I'm one who isn't a big fan of holidays like this. I mean - my husband will go to the store and bring me home a diet coke or a chocolate bar or something much of the time when he's out and that means far far more to me than mandatory chocolates or a meal out or sex simply because someone declares it is "Valentine's Day".

If we feel like it- we'll have sex. If not - that's fine - we probably had it the day before and are wiped out or have plans for the next day or whatever.

Sure, why not? You may as well ask if couples make a point to have sex on their anniversary. I'm sure most couples do, or at least do something to foster intimacy on that day.

What we don't use it for is obligatory pink stuffed animals and red roses. But I'm good with chocolate!

Funny thing is my hubby and I don't do anything for our anniversary. We've been together 12 years, we only got married out of necessity after being together for about 8 years and neither one of us remembers our anniversary.

I'm kinda with TexasMama, I'm not a big fan of holidays and it means way more to me when he brings something home because he thought of me.

Eh. We both have high sex drives, so there really isn't a point in making it a date to have sex or not. Our sex life is quite healthy!

Nah. Sex, for us, is something we make a point of doing regularly, like taking a shower or brushing your teeth. It usually happens on Valentine's Day, but we don't force it or plan anything special.
