I actually got a handful of things off of my wedding registry, all of which I love.
But I think my favorite is a copy of Alan Light's new book The Holy or The Broken about Leonard Cohen's song Hallelujah. My fiance got it for me because we're both in love with that song. It was a sweet and very thoughtful gift.

C got me The Tao of Pooh and The Te of Piglet, which are books that have come into my life at the right time. I'm now understanding him a lot more (he's always been a Taoist, even before he knew what it was), and I can come to terms with Life as it is instead of what I think it should be.

I got a Leatherman that I loooove. I've always wanted a full-sized one, but the big ones are slightly too large for my hands, and rather heavy. I got the 'big brother' of the mini I have, it's just the right size and so nice! /rant

My rice cooker. Definitely a thing I've been wanting for a while, especially since none of the dining halls at school seem to know how to make rice that isn't undercooked and hard or overcooked and mushy.
