Jem and the Holograms (and their antagonists, The Misfits). Holly Hobbie. "Where's the beef??". Annie (with Tim Curry as "Rooster" Hannigan). The Real Ghostbusters. "Walk Like an Egyptian". Kidd Video. "I've fallen and I can't get up!" Pee-Wee's Playhouse. The Get-Along Gang. Moonwalking. You Can't Do That on Television. Atari. Pound Puppies (and Purries). GI Joe. "We Are the World". McDLT. Labyrinth (which started puberty in me). Alvin and the Chipmunks. Neon-colored Jackson Pollack-type graphics. MTV playing music videos.
I never forgave 1990 for coming in and ruining the party.

And then we had the Chucky from Child's Play-esque doll that haunted my nightmares: Baby Talk. I threw this thing in the bottom of my closet and buried it. I had terrible, horrific dreams where it wouldn't stop laughing and said it was going to hurt people. Almost 25 years later, I still shudder.
