Anne Rice is an American author who wrote the Vampire Chronicles and the Sleeping Beauty series. (And a whole bunch of other stuff.) After her husband's death she renewed her faith in Christianity and has kind of gone off the deep end, so I don't think she'd be chasing ghosts in Jamaica, or anywhere else.

She has to have written more gay erotica than any other author EVER!
