Birdemic: Shock and Terror

Did anyone else see this film? I know it has been out for a little while, but I just had to post about it because it was so terrible that it was great!

If you are looking for a good laugh, I'd recommend people to see it. I feel kind of bad that I put it off for so long, because watching it made me laugh so much that I felt better!

Based on the title alone, I can tell what type of movie it is

LOL I just looked it up though, and the IMDB rating says that I'd probably find it funny in that same way I found movies like Motor Home Massacre funny because it's just so bad LOL

I'll have to watch it some time!

I think I'd rather read Fifty.

I've heard of it, mostly in the "this is so awful you have to see it" sense, but haven't yet watched it. I'll work up the nerve to do it soon.

HAHA! It is supposed to be a "romantic thriller/horror" film but that is complete bull! It is an extremely poorly acted comedy with a shoehorned in environmental message.

LOL! Yes, it is like that, but I think Birdemic is much worse. Although, I just can't get enough of movies that are so bad that they miraculously become good!

I totally recommend it, Peggi, you will probably get tired from all of the laughing!

LMAO! I think Fifty is a much better horror story than Birdemic!

That statement basically sums up the entire movie. I mean, how can you take a movie with exploding animated gif birds seriously? The funny thing is that the director of the movie really thinks it is great and realistic. If you see the movie, you will understand just how insane that makes him.

Whenever you do watch it, let me know how you feel about it

OMG I've seen it SO many times....mostly with RiffTrax, though....

I love how the "birdemic" starts EXACTLY halfway through the movie, after 45 minutes of Rod going about his boring life.

LOL! I should check it out with RiffTrax. I basically riffed on it myself while watching it.

I know right?! It took it so long to get to the exploding animated gif birds! I don't understand why the movie spent that much time "establishing" bland Rod and Natalie's craptacular romance!

I consider myself a passionate lover of bad movies, and Birdemic actually broke me. I've watched some of the worst movies out there with glee and I couldn't get through the first few minutes of Birdemic!

I think I would be the same. Jersey Shore Shark Attack was my limit for bad horror.

I love bad movies, and I couldn't get through it without needing to stop. Maybe I'll try again with rifftrax

If you enjoyed the flagrant abomination that is Birdemic, and you haven't yet seen The Room, I highly recommend it. There's a RiffTrax for it as well, and it's just tremendous (of course, you would watch it without the RiffTrax first)

It is definitely hard to sit through without any riffing going on simultaneously. I suppose I was just really tolerant on the day I watched it, since I usually avoid bad movies like the plague. Seriously, Birdemic is terrible enough to destroy bad movie gurus!

I'm going to check it out with Rifftrax as well because there is no way in Hell I can sit through it on my own again.

OH GOD NOT TOMMY WISEAU! I've seen THE ROOM...WITH RIFFTRAX LOL! I couldn't handle that one without any added commentary for sanity. Perhaps one day, I will have a sanity lapse and watch that movie without any Rifftrax...I am dreading that day.

Once you surrender yourself and let yourself slip into the abyss that is the movie, it is surprisingly easy :p
