I still remember that in the 90's MTV played good music, cool animation and had brilliant programs. But now we get idiotic shows such as Teen Mom and Jersey Shore. Does anyone else miss old MTV?

While I do miss some of the good music they used to play, I never really watched it much when it had it, and I love Teen Mom, Awkward, Buckwild, Catfish, Jersey Shore, and Snooki and Jwoww. So I actually watch it a lot more now than I did in the past.

Back when there was actual music on MTV yes. At least now you can get some Music videos on VH1.

It always amused me when they created MTV2, for "music videos", since that was what MTV was supposed to be (and neither are anymore)

It doesn't really affect me much since I don't have cable tv. But I remember watching MTV in the old days at friends' houses and I loved it. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like it now if it has stuff like the Jersey Shore.

Yes. I was a huge fan back in the early to mid 80s. I tuned out when they stopped playing music videos. The only non-music show of theirs I ever enjoyed was Remote Control.

I loved MTV in the 80's and early 90's when I was a kid... but do I miss it? I doubt I would watch most of it now. I would watch the Headbangers Ball. The rest of it, I already have: Beavis & Butthead, the Maxx, Aeon Flux.

I miss the way that it was more music than programming. I liked some of the old shows, but there is way too much reality tv on there now.

I would still watch the original/old school MTV if it was on, it would perfect for background while doing other things. Honestly it would prob be playing most the day.

Daria is one of my favorite shows. I miss those days on MTV. It had a lot more music, and the shows that they did play were not all that bad.

Yes I do miss it. The old shows and even music videos that they actually played. Oh well it is the new genre. Maybe someday they will make another station of all the old hits.
