I wouldn't say it sends me into tears or anything, but I do love it.
I don't listen to it as much as I'd like because I only listen to it on the radio stations of our cable since I don't have any on my mp3 player yet.

hate, hate, hate it. I find it to be the most annoying sound in the world, like clutter for my ears that won't end.

We are both huge fans of symphony. We also love going to big Broadway shows with music like Phantom, but pure Opera is nothing we have ever enjoyed...as much as we tried twice to go to productions, once in NY and once in the UK. Both left us.....confused and sleepy.
