Okay, I had this fantastic idea for the sex scene in a fanfic, and it involved a couple of toys, but I'm hung up on the fact that the toys in question weren't in existence at the time that the story is set.
Please feel free to tell me I'm crazy, but would it throw you out of a story if you knew it was supposed to be 2002, but the character had a Little Chroma?
(And yes, I could be vaguer about the vibe, and I might go that direction, but there is actually a reason I wanted to use that specific one.)
