Check out a college campus Gamer's Guild. They almost always have D&D or branch-off campaigns running.

That, and I'm all about the more intense gameplay. 12+ witches on Hard Rain, new special infected...I hate the jockey, and yet I love the challenges he provides. Plus, FINALLY a decent ... more
Oh god, his blood farmers thing creeped me out. My bf is from the south and even he said he was wondering wtf Ellis was smoking, LOL.

Never could get into the book/dice/card RPGs. Absolutely computer and video RPGs though.

Thanks! The college I'm at right now is way too small for anything like that, but when I transfer I will definitely try to find one of those!!

Yes! It's great. I like to get almost all the way through and then start over and play differently... or in the case of Fable... beat the game one way and start all over to see just how different the game is if you do things different.

I have finally got my Xbox 360 hooked to the internet, and I am pretty much hooked on Call of Duty-Modern Warfare. I can't wait to get Modern Warfare 2 for Christmas!

Gamer Mom here too and proud of it. Everything from old school pinball and 80's consoles, to Sims3, Vampire Wars and so forth. Rock!

I wouldn't exactly call myself a "hardcore" gamer, but I definitely am a gamer. I've loved video games since I was able to speak, really.

My current two loves are Left for Dead 2 and The Sims 3.

Is this about video games or RPG? I see people respond with both.

I'm Chilipepper, and I'm an RPG geek girl.

I've done D&D, AD&D, Shadowrun, Rifts, World of Darkness. My favorites are the Steve Jackson GURPS systems, where I have played IOU (staff member of 'C.T.H.U.L.H.U.' - College of Temporal Happenstance, Ultimate Lies, and Historical Undertakings), Steampunk/Screampunk (an authentic medium with a clockwork cat familiar), Cliffhangers (wrench wench and getaway car driver) ... I've also done LARPing (live action role playing) for Call of Cthulhu (hereditary witch attending Miskatonic - actually, the granddaughter of my Steampunk character). I also count my time at Renaissance Festivals where I portrayed a lost Priestess of Avalon.

I still have my 'Vampire: the Masquerade' books, and now I want to sell them with the hoo-rah over Twlight ... after all, that series is a fanfic based in World of Darkness.

I started it with RPG's in mind (with dice or cards) but video gamers spoke up too. That's cool...they're all addicting in their own way...some cheaper than others though!

Chilipepper Girl: I was trying to send you a message via the system. It says your EF thingy isn't started yet.

Hey there Mistress Kay. We are also playing Dragon Age! Arch has completed the game and the extra addition...he's the hard core gamer. He's moved on to Mass Effect 2 and the neat thing is you can use your dragon armor there from Dragon Age.

We actually met Arch while playing Lineage. I beta tested Lineage 2 and we played that for over a year before moving on to WOW.

Gamer here! I'm more of a console/computer gamer. For the console I'm a Nintendo FREAK. Mario is most likely my best friend. For the computer I play WoW. Right now I'm a lvl 27 Horde/Hunter/Troll. Excited that I just got my first mount.. LoL

Leopardprint here! I run Call of Cthulhu one-shots/campaigns & was an avid D&D player for awhile (3.5, y'all). I also love boardgames like Settlers of Catan & Pandemic... and classics like Scrabble. I once got a crush on someone because they beat me in Scrabble!

*waves hand in the air* I love playing video games and board games. Only problem is lack of money for said video games.

My boyfriend and I play WoW. I have been playing for about 5 years, he's been in for 2. I know a lot of people that previously played DND before that--including him. Our only unfortunate gaming difference is that he is a SEGA lover, and I love my SNES.

Mario vs. Sonic, ftw.

I'm Lauren and I've been a gamer since like the age of 10. Atari anyone? lol I love all sorts of games. I have a ps2, and ps3 in addition to like 6 different game boys. My house has an xbox 360 and a wii. I am addicted to online D&D right now though. I prefer FPS games to RPG's but I go through phases.

I'm a gamer. Mostly video and PC RPGs, but some pen and paper (or "real" RPGs as my boyfriend calls them). I was a professional game reviewer for a short time, before the company I worked for folded.

YAY! Gamers of EF

Now, follow up: for the DnD players, magic item sex toys? I thought it was interesting to put in the belt of opposite gender in a campaign with mixed orientations.

what does the +5 go towards? Is it a Dex, Str, or Wis bonus?

I'd say +5 Wis. Extra Str or Dex ain't worth a thing if you can't figure out how to please the individual, which may vary immensely.

Though, grabbing that +2 Ring of Giant Strength couldn't hurt...
