How do you go about meeting new people to potentially date after getting out of a serious long term relationship? I would like to get outside of my social circle for a new relationship and have no clue where to start.

I've been trying to figure this out too.

I've been on POF and okcupid. Honestly, I haven't found anyone yet. I've met a couple people, but I think it could be a good thing to use your circle of friends to meet people.

Think about it: They're your friends. They know you. They probably know some pretty cool people you haven't met yet. Maybe some of them are single?

I briefly tried okcupid and found it to be full of a lot of sketchy people. I'm sure there are some lovely people on there, but I got contacted by mostly people in relationships looking for something on the side.

I could utilize friends of friends. I think I'm still somewhat apathetic about dating again.

Sodom and Gomorrah Sodom and Gomorrah
Make a carboard sign and go well dressed and stand with your sign to your nearest street corner. I'm single, I have a job, I'm loving, interested? lol
