They can do AMAZING things. The MOST "real life" amazing thing was when our friends were on a mission trip after an earthquake. Some condoms from a members pack (don't ask) ended up being used (NO JOKE) to serve as WATER TRANSPORT DEVICES. Unlike water balloons, they were able to carry about a gallon of water....over and over...and did NOT break if held carefully. One of them was used about TWENTY TIMES before it "gave out". Lifesaver condoms...who knew?
