There are a few people that I talk to semi-regularly and one that Alan talks to, but we seem to be a little out of the overall age loop for the friend networks or something. Either that or we both suck at communicating online

I've spoken to a few local Bay Area types near me, I teach a lot of outdoor skills classes and run into a few Eden people by pure coincidence.

I have told friends about this site and encouraged them to get accounts, so technically that means I communicate with EF members off the site, but we knew each other before we were on here.

If I knew anyone on here well enough to call them friends I'd certainly be fine with communicating outside of EF, but I don't really talk to people that much on here for some reason.
There's a few people I can think of off the top of my head that I'd -like- to be friends with on here but I'm a bit too shy to try and make friends with them.
