Do you COUPON in stores, or use COUPON CODES online? What was your BEST success with that?

I don't have time for "extreme" coupon cutting, but when shopping online I always first Google "coupon codes" for whatever company I am shopping from. Saved a lot that way. Especially aquarium or auto supplies.

Now, with our budget tight, I have started clipping coupons from the Sunday paper and ad flyer's again. (used to do that when we were young and poor).

Well, last night when shopping, I had my CVS "extra care bucks", and a fist full of coupons. I bought shavers and cream, hair color, toilet paper..etc, and my cart total was $172, but I ended up paying $51 out of pocket!!!!! That was, by far, my most amazing "savings" ever.

Anyone else do coupon cutting? Online Couponing? What kind of savings have YOU had before?

I don't get the Sunday paper, so I don't really clip any coupons. I will browse through online coupon web sites for coupons and I print them off if there's anything I would use. Mostly, I just buy stuff that is on sale for groceries. A local store does a lot of buy one get one free sales, so I get a good amount of food for very little money.

When I buy online, I always look up coupon codes to use with my purchase and I always buy when things are on sale.

I've joined email clubs for pretty much every restaurant near me, whether I eat there or not, so I can get discounts if I do ever go there. I also joined clubs for stores like JCPenney and Kohl's so that I get discounts emailed to me.

Recently I went to Kohl's to buy some clothes. I got about $400 worth of clothing for around $100. A week later, I went back to use the Kohl's Cash I earned and bought a few more things for about 75% off the original price.

I cut coupons out of the Sunday paper, comparison shop from the local store ads they mail every Wednesday, I use online coupon codes, have store clubs like JCPenney, victoria Secret etc. My b-days coming up and VS sent me $10 coupon code with my VS Catalog and $10 coupon code online in my email for my b-day so I can save $20. JCP always sends save $10 off $10 purchase or $10 off $25 purchase so I take advantage of all the specials.

I haven't paid for deoderant, toothpaste, shampoo or conditioner, shave cream etc in years! I don't go overboard and hoard stuff but I match coupons with sales and with the coupons doubled it saves a bundle!

I coupon when I can online, but I have so many allergies that normal things like food and cosmetics aren't really an option for me. I can't switch brands because of a sale.

I have had the best luck emailing companies for coupons. They don't send the $.55 coupons, They send the free coupons. I have gotten Bounty paper towels, Tide, Huggies diapers, batteries etc.

I search the internet and Sunday paper for coupons. These days with the economy the way it is you have to coupon to survive.

If I am buying stuff online, I usually see if I can find a coupon for where I am buying it. I use the Costco member coupons, but don't usually do cut coupons when going to the store.
