Do you sleep with the TV on?

I cant stand the TV in the bedroom, distracts from the purposes of sleep/relaxing/sexytim e. I can't sleep with it on so no TV in my room ever! Music is alright though, when played softly.

I refuse to allow a tv in the bedroom. The bedroom is for sleeping and fucking, not watching television.

We don't have a TV in our bedroom, but if I'm taking an afternoon nap or something in the living room, I prefer to have the TV on.

I don't have a TV, but if I did I wouldn't keep it in the bedroom. I can't sleep with that much noise.

I need the tv on, the noise very very low and the light. I grew up with it always on and now I cant go without it. If I wake up in the middle of the night and the tv shut off for some reason I cant fall back asleep till I put it back on. I wish I didnt need it.

i need close to absolute darkness and silence (except for white noise, like a fan, or rain). It's hard for me to sleep with the TV on.

Fess up!
Can deal with plains, trains, automobiles, roommates screwing, and that dam dog but not the tv.

Our bedroom faces the pool area and for some reason unbeknownst to either of us, they have chosen to keep the stereo down there on 24/7.

I turn the tv on to drown out the noise of whatever station the kids left it on last. I set the timer and then change the brightness of the screen so it's barely noticeable and then I bury my face in the pillows.

I need noise such as a fan...if I'm in a hotel room or something without a fan, then I will use the tv.

I sleep with the fan on. I cannot sleep without background noise, but the tv is usually too distracting.

I developed the ability to sleep through just about anything from military service....like stretching out in an M-88 and catching a quick nap, or with nearby gunfire/explosions...b ut it is really hard for me to sleep through silence.
I need some noise....TV helps, but just the droning of a fan somewhere helps a lot.

I like background noise. It really helps me. I especially love the box fan on high in the spring and summer.

I fall asleep to it on, but have a timer set for it to go off at 3 am, I can not afford to buy another flat screen right now, esp after I had to fix it once already.

If I'm tired enough, I can fall asleep with the tv on and all my friends yelling over each other.

The TV needs to be off for me to be asleep. I do well with no noise or rain.
