As I sit here in bed, one of my cats (Dread Pirate Roberts) is burrowing under bedsheets and wrestling with a stuffed animal llama I have.

What are some silly habits that your pets have? What are your favorite things to watch them do?

I love sitting on the couch and watch my cats perform something out of a comedy show. They tend to face each other, and Mischief will stick her paw on Freckles's head, and he'll lay down, get back up, and repeat. They keep doing this until they jump and run around the house. I find it so darn cute and funny!

Right after my husband collected all our Poodle's toys in the basket, the silly boy will pick them out one by one and line them up along the wall, next to the basket - he does the same thing every time.

My cat Oliver likes to fold his paws under his arms and rest his head on the ground so he looks like a chicken He also taps me on the hand when he wants pets. And if I don't pet him, he tries to pick up my hand and bring it to his face XD

I have a cat named Midnight as well, who loves to lick anything made of plastic or metal (the latter especially when it's hot out), and will occasionally decide that she loves me so much that she has to rub against my face RIGHT THAT INSTANT, no matter what I'm doing. Though she didn't really do that until after she started going senile... But it's still cute, most of the time

I had a cat who always wanted to curl up, on my chest, right under my chin whenever I was lounging with my laptop propped on my lap.

My parents' dog used to do something similar!! Not every time, but she would take all her toys out one by one right after all of them were put in there.

Okay--a shorter list than last year, but these are the goofiest things our critters do that are just too funny or adorable!!
--Our Pomeranian (6 yrs. old) loves to sit flat on her butt and get her belly rubbed. She puts each front leg out sideways, drops her head down and looks at us. Resembling a thoroughly drunk Cinderella mouse!!! Then she wants to play and sounds like a raccoon!!
--Our Shih Tzu (10 mo. old) 'talks' with over 25 different vocal whines/noises...they are repeated at appropriate times and situations so it is not random. She also bites her tail and goes in slow circles when over excited.
--My oldest cat(19 yrs. old) is obsessed with me and will lay behind me on the couch, putting his nose in my hair--and drool!--then will circle my neck with his tail. He is never far from me and started this after my car accident.
--Our little cat(14 yrs. old)trained himself to use the toilet to pee in...you saw the picture on an earlier post. He also knows when I get home and will streak across the fields, run to the end of the porch and sit there waiting for me to get out of my truck....awwww!!!

We had 3 of our pets die last year--they also had their own unique and special traits. Whenever there is a time when I think they should be there doing their goofy things, it really hits me again that they are gone...but I would NOT have missed any of it for the world!!!
