How do you sleep when it's "Just to hot"

Contributor: Hentialover Hentialover
In Ontario the weather has been cold, rainy and cloudy for weeks, but the last two days it has been hot and sunny. And with the sun and heat, comes the problems of sleeping. So how do you handle it? I could use some tips.

I simply soak my feet in cool water - this immediately reduces body temperature - and if necessary sleep in the buff.

Naked, and with every fan I own trained on the bed.

I live in south Georgia, and a couple weeks ago our AC went out. It was 90+ in the house! Awful. Hubs and I slept in separate beds that night, so we wouldn't even have to touch another human.

Take cool shower and sleep naked with fan on and no covers.

I don't I don't sleep well with a fan on and I don't want to get bitched at for messing with the thermostat. I wear shorts and a t-shirt to bed. I'll get up and take some benedryl and melatonin and hope it makes me slip into sleep. Right now opening a window won't work since it's warm out there.

Not a huge fan of sleeping naked, though I have slept topless before. But I've recently invested in some sports bras. So if it's hot, panties, sports bra, fine on high.

I usually sleep naked with the ceiling fan on. The fan's more for white noise than it's cooling factor. If it gets too hot I'll open a window. I wish I could open both to get a cross breeze going, but the other window's broken and closing it involves going outside and pushing it closed with a mop!

Use a cold neck wrap before hopping into bed - it's the fastest way to cool your entire body down.

Try a moist towel under your head. It really works.
