How long does it take you to write a product review?

Contributor: Pete's Princess Pete's Princess
My reviews take me several hours then at least 30 minutes to an hour to get pictures and upload them. I know all reviews are different and reviewing a lip balm may not have as much detail as a costume. Just wondering on average how long does it take you to write a review.

a couple of hours, to a couple of days. it all depends on the product and how much I liked it.

Other. I usually spend two to three days on a review, adding information and checking for grammar mistakes/typos along the way.

It usually takes me several days to write a review. Usually, I only have a few minutes here and there to work on it. I hope to have a couple more done before too much longer....

Usually 3-4 hours, sometimes more. I try to do them all at once so I don't lose my rhythm but there are times I'll break it up over two days.

I take my pics (when my camera and computer liked each other, lol), then sit down and let it all out!!! If I try to stop the flow of words coming out--my review goes to hell....I am a 'spewer' type writer. When I feel the words start happening--grab the laptop and let them go!!! Then I re-read them and correct the mistakes I can catch.

I take pictures and then upload them- rotate, crop, etc as needed- that takes a little while. Then usually a couple of hours actually writing, I would say, but it depends on the product really.

Including taking pictures, between 1 and 2 hours. I have to write the review while the product is fresh on my mind. I may take a teeny break here and there, but for the most part, I keep going.

I always take photos a soon as the products arrive, and then take others when I'm reviewing in case I need a photo of something I didn't capture beforehand. So, I have hundreds of photos of products I haven't even reviewed yet.

When it comes time to writing the review, it usually takes me at least an hour, but is usually around two hours. Once the review is complete, I add my photos. Choosing the right photos, cropping them, and resizing them can take me another 30 minutes depending on how many I have and what I'm planning to include.

The LEAST amount of time I spend on a review is an hour, but the most is three at the most.

Depends on the product. If it has a lot of features it will require a longer review than something simple would.

It all depends on the products. Lubes take about a half hour, but my Spirit review took several hours because there was so much to go over.

It takes me about 2 to 3 hours sometimes more since I do camming and will do them while I am free and not busy. Once I get busy I have to stop and wait to get back to reviewing when I am done.

Measuring - 30 minutes
Writing - 2-3 hours
Taking pictures - 1 hour
Editing pictures - 1 hour

So probably about 4-5 hours total.

4+ hours for me, especially when I did the Plainstirs Egg and the Wake-Up Vibe. It was also the first time I uploaded photos into my review. the more tekkie the toy is the longer it takes though the words flow much easier than my 1st couple revies.

I don't do photos. I guess if you added all the time together, it'd be around 1-2 hours, but I usually do it over the course of several days, adding comments to each section as different thoughts come to mind when I'm using it.

Depends on the review.

Vibrators in my opinion take the longest sometimes two to three days.

Dildo are a little easier so less than half a day.

Other products, usually an hour give or take.

I hardly ever sit down and finish a review at one time. I spend days on them. Sometimes weeks.
