If a very good plastic surgeon offered you ANY surgery offered (only one) TOTALLY FREE....WOULD you take them up on the offer? What would you have "done", if anything?

Contributor: Bignuf Bignuf
A plastic surgeon and I had this hypothetical discussion last evening. He THINKS he knows the answer (most of his "free" requests would be from woman wanting breast implants), BUT I am not so sure that is true. I think MORE men and woman might want a lipo or tummy tuck, if they could get it FREE.

If it was YOU who got this surgical procedure (never going to happen in the real world) offered to them free, what would you have done???

Just a little "over dinner" bet to settle!!! (Remember, this is a FANTASY question...it "ain't ever going to happen in the real world")!!!! * unless you work for a plastic surgeon who offers free "one procedure per year" to his/her staff as some apparently still do!

Sorry...free or not, NO ONE is cutting on me, just for cosmetic reasons.

I seriously hate my hips. They have this weird sort of lumpy thing going on. Not attractive. So I'd love to have that taken care of. I'd actually pay for that if I had the thousands of dollars it takes to do it.

I'd pass

I have a slight double chin I wouldn't mind having tucked up. Either that or a slight reduction of the one side of my labia - and before anybody jumps on me, it's because the damn thing dries out a lot and sometimes gets pinched as I walk. Very annoying.

I, quite honestly, would probably get my labia done. But only if they specialized in that. Otherwise I'd probably pass. Or maybe get my nose done. It looks too much like my dad. But it doesn't actually bother me that much.

None, plastic surgery won't fix what cripples me the most

Either a breast reduction, or my labiaplasty.

My breasts... well they are perfect for my body. Honest to goodness I love them. But they hurt my back and my shoulders have these divets in them where my bra strap goes. I wouldn't object being one cup smaller to prevent the aches and pain I have now and know will be coming later on much worse.

My labia...well... I hate how I have to tuck it up into me because if I wear tight pants it just hurts something feirce. Or if I wear a thong it feels as if the circulation has been cut off.

Both of these do make me unique and even though cause me some grief they are my grief. But it would make life a little easier!!!!

Labiaplasty. Not because I want designer labia but because I'm hella OCD about them not lining up and it bothers the crap out of me. One of them is about an inch longer than the other and it sometimes gets pinched during masturbation or sex and it's just not pleasant.

My second choice would be lipo on my stomach, 3rd would be lipo under my chin, 4th would be on my thighs.

Honestly to me the price doesn't matter at all. Aside from the fact that I'd be too worried about risks, it disgusts me to think of myself buying into society's idea that in order to be beautiful you have to slightly mutilate yourself (or perhaps in this case, not so slightly).

Vulvar Lipoplasty. My 'FUPA' bothers the fuck out of me. I'm a big girl, and I'm okay with the rest of my body, but not that.

A breast reduction would be nice - but I'll pass (which is how I voted). My husband loves me being "big and curvy".

I could stand a tummy tuck. That is my least favorite area of my body.

I voted 'other' because, frankly, I haven't put any research into it at all.

I kind of wish I could get my underchin area tightened up... it doesn't sag or anything, but in photographs if I'm ever looking down my chin/cheeks kinda bunch together and I don't like it. It doesn't match my slender neck/face.

So, after doing some research, *if* I was assured beyond a reasonable doubt that there would be no negative effects like scarring, or looking worse 15 years in the future or something, I would probably get it done. However, I'm skeptical that you could do something like that without possibilities of negative effects, so my actual answer would probably be heck no.

I'd get a breast reduction, I want to go back down to a D cup. (Hopefully I'll lose weight there when I get off the birth control)

Lipo! Vacuum that crap out! Do it NOW! I wish this happened in the real world. I do get free cosmetic treatments where I work, but only a few that we offer. If we had the lipo machine at our office, I'd want it done for sure.

Some sort of lipo, totally.

nothing now, but I'd think about a rain check to have loose skin removed should there be any after I lose weight. I have always had a rotund stomach due to weight gain and liver problems as a child. I'm not sure everything would shrink the way it should if I ever do lose the weight.

Maybe. I've technically had plastic surgery (for a herniated [outie] belly button that rubbed oddly and chafed against my ballet leotards), but that was like mildly necessary. If I would take him up on it, it'd be lipo/tummy tuck.

I have this issue too, it was after I fell on the stairs. One of those cartoony falls where my foot slipped on the carpeted stairs, legs in the air and I landed on my right hip then slid down 5 more steps. Now my booty is dented. makes me sad. Of course it mostly only noticeable to me. the hubby knows about it but says if he didn't know he would never have known.

My thighs and love handles are my least favourite body parts, but I wouldn't pick lipo as my first choice because I could just work out and improve those areas. I'd probably get my boobs done. I'd just want them slightly bigger, and evened up because one is like 1/2 a cup size bigger, but the main thing is I'd want them moved closer together on my chest. I feel like they're too widely spaced. I don't know if there's even a surgery for that, but since this is all hypothetical anyways...

Just one? Lipo my back rolls for free, and I'll be SUPER happy.

Nothing yet! I love my B cups haha. My eyelids are actually every so slightly uneven, but I'm too scared to let anyone near my eyes with sharp instruments, even totally sedated!

I picked "other" because what I'd really want isn't actually surgery. I get terrible ingrown hairs, so I'd want laser hair removal or electrolysis. My second pick would be cosmetic dentistry. I hate my teeth.

If it absolutely had to be something more surgical, I guess I would go with some lipo around my stomach.
