We don't have that where I work, but we do celebrate Christmas, just no special parties. I wouldn't mind either way. I probably wouldn't want to do gift-exhanging with my co-workers because that's too much pressure, but a Christmas celebration, yes! Mostly though, we're just glad to spend our Christmas' with our families.

Some are certainly better than others. I've worked for companies who threw outrageous parties and others that were just plain lame.

No but I go anyway to show team spirit. I usually hang out around the buffet and now they have luncheon ones where I have to go back to work anyway.

anytime you are at work, and partying instead of working...and getting and giving gifts...it's a good day. i would like to take the "christmas" out of it...but, love it anyway.
