I have lots of tattoos, but only really regret one. I loved the idea, but the artist didn't work it the way it was planned and it didn't come out how I wanted it.

I have four tattoos and I don't regret any of them. I do think waiting until I was 25 had something to do with that, though.

I wanted a tattoo all my life and never got one until I was 58, one that I really love. My original one I was to get was a small yellow rose on my left arm near my shoulder. You see my avatar? That's what I got on my back and proud of it. Already thinking of getting another one for my ankle.

I don't have any tattoos yet, but it's not out of a fear of regretting them. I've had a couple of designs knocking around my head for a long time now. One of the reasons I haven't gotten them is I'm not at the weight I want to be at, and I'm afraid of the images distorting as my body changes shape when I lose weight. The other main reason is I've got some nasty metal allergies, and I've read that people with metal allergies can also have bad reactions to tattoo ink.
